The Chanel book trilogy has finally arrived!

28th November 2011 10:08 am

This year has been full of announcements about big name designers branching out into the world of books, with the likes of Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin being just two of them. One that we couldn’t wait to hit the shops, was the Chanel Luxe trilogy from Assouline – a series of three books by François Baudot and François Aveline.

The hardback books are stunningly encased in a luxury black quilted case adorned with the signature double ‘C’ logo, which is what makes the collection just as coveted as an iconic Chanel handbag! Gentlemen… if you’re on the lookout for a Christmas present for a lady who loves the timeless classic essence of the Chanel brand, look no further.

The trilogy is marketed as the ultimate collector’s item (we won’t argue there) and explores the brand’s history including jewellery, perfume and even Coco Chanel herself.

Despite the set retailing for £475 – a tad pricier than your average trilogy – it has already sold out on the Net-a-Porter website, proving that regardless of the product, Chanel’s still got it.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
