Meet Felicity Jones, the new face of Dolce and Gabbana

30th November 2011 9:01 am

As much as we love sexy Hollywood screen sirens like Scarlett Johansson representing one of our favourite brands, we can’t say we aren’t excited when it comes to welcoming a brand new face – and the new girl at Dolce and Gabbana is gorgeous British actress Felicity Jones, who we imagine is thrilled to be joining the D&G family.

“Representing a heady mix of sensuality, confidence and beauty, Felicity Jones offers a sense of divine contradiction,” the Dolce and Gabbana designers said in a statement. “Classically beautiful yet modern in attitude, her audacious gaze is impossible to ignore.”

You may recognise the 28-year-old actress – who originally hailed from Birmingham – from her childhood days of playing Ethel Hallow in nineties children’s show The Worst Witch.  She has since blossomed into a beautiful English rose and acclaimed actress, working alongside legends such as Maggie Gyllenhaal, Rupert Everett and Guy Pearce.

This isn’t Felicity’s first foray into fashion however, as she once posed in front of Mario Testino’s lens for Burberry and also covered Tatler’s March issue with Gossip Girl hottie Ed Westwick. Nice!

We can totally see why she captured the attention of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and we can’t wait to see her take on her official advertising campaign duties. Rumour has it that her first role will be to promote Dolce and Gabbana make-up in adverts that are set to land as early as January next year. Watch this space!
