American readers: get excited! It’s just been announced that Alexa Chung’s brand new show 24 Hour Catwalk will air on the Lifetime network on Tuesday 10th January – so you really haven’t got long to wait at all.
The rest of us in the other parts of the globe will just have to sit tight and hope it comes to a television near us, or at the very least, be available to watch online because we really don’t want to miss out!
If you don’t know what the format of the show is, just think of it as a Project Runway/Project Catwalk on fast-forward – as young and budding designers have just 24 hours (!!) to prepare their very own collection. Sounds tense but we know it will make for great television!
Each episode sees four hopefuls battle it out against each other to come out on top; two will find themselves eliminated while the remaining couple will have the task of preparing a themed collection for their very own catwalk show.
The contestants will have to impress judges Cynthia Rowley, Derek Blasberg and James LaForce if they want to be crowned the winner and go home with the $10,000 cash prize courtesy of CoverGirl and Herbal Essences.
