Is Nicole Richie the new face of Halston?

6th December 2011 11:46 am

Halston has been in the press a lot recently, as not only was it having a spot of financial trouble and sought an injection of funds earlier this year, but its chief creative officer Sarah Jessica Parker and designer Marios Schwaab both parted ways with the brand within just a few months of each other.

Halston is therefore said to be looking for someone who can pick it up and turn it around in the new year, and who better than highly respected designer and all-round top fashionista Nicole Richie?

“They wanted someone with Nicole’s fashion credentials,” a source said. “She is the perfect ambassador for Halston and even wore one of their gowns to the launch of her own fashion brand last week. She’d love to produce a capsule collection with them.”

Nicole Richie has come a long way from her The Simple Life days and has established herself as quite the style icon, so we have complete and utter faith that she will do wonders for the luxury brand.

We look forward to seeing what happens next year – watch this space!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
