Alice Dellal has a unique but all-round gorgeous look (not everyone can rock a half-shaved head, you know), which is why we don’t find it very hard to believe that she may be the star of the Chanel spring/summer 2012 handbag ad campaigns.
If the rumours are true, Alice will have some very large shoes to fill, as the likes of Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively and former singer-turned-yummy-mummy Lily Allen have both done a fab job of representing Chanel Mademoiselle and Cocoon handbags respectively.
Karl Lagerfeld has a knack for choosing perfect ambassadors for the timeless Chanel brand, and if the speculation about him picking Alice is true, this time will be no different.
Alice’s previous modelling duties include posing for Mango, Agent Provocateur and Italian label Ermanno Scervino, but she is said to spend a lot of her time drumming in the punk rock inspired band Thrush Metal.
Will we see her signature personal look translated into the new campaigns or will she undergo a classic Chanel make-over and be virtually unrecognisable? Only time will tell.
