WATCH Rihanna make her movie debut in the Battleship trailer
Finally! We’ve been hearing about Rihanna making her acting debut in the upcoming Battleship film (inspired by the popular sci-fi board game) for some time now, and it’s finally time to see the Bajan singing sensation in action as we feast our eyes on the official trailer.
We were curious to see how Rihanna tackled her ‘weapons officer’ part, ever since she spoke about the gruelling training she had to undergo to prepare for the role.
”One man drilled me, yelled at me, cursed me out, made me do push-ups,” she said at the time. “It got you really in the mentality, that’s the stuff that they go through; it’s not a walk in the park.”

We can’t wait to see the film – which also stars Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgaard and Brooklyn Decker – when it hits the big screen in April next year.
