Florence Welch will open (and perform at!) the Harrods sale this year

22nd December 2011 11:28 am

For the first time in history, the opening of the highly-anticipated post-Christmas Harrods sale will be launched with a live musical performance. And the Knightsbridge store has only gone and secured the one and only Florence Welch to sing for the crowds before they get their elbows at the ready to hit the sale.

Florence and the Machine will apparently be performing some of their best loved hits, including Shake it Out and What the Water Gave Me from their successful Ceremonials album.

The performance will take place at Harrods’ Door 5, in Hans Crescent on December 27 with doors opening at 9am.

If you want to get a good viewing spot and be one of the first ones to peruse the discounted items, we suggest you arrive early.

See you there!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
