Kate Winslet smoulders in her St John spring/summer 2012 ad campaign
Craig McDean had (what we can only assume was) the absolute pleasure of photographing Kate Winslet in a series of images for the latest St John ad campaign.
The collection aims to cater to and flatter women of all shapes and sizes, with its forgiving lines, prints and colours. And what better model to appeal to the everywoman than the curvy, real and incredibly beautiful Kate Winslet!
“What I love is that the lines are a lot more relaxed and yet at the same time they still give shape,” she said. “So you still those lovely feminine curves which to me are very important. You don’t have to be a size 2 or 4 to be able to wear these garments because they fall so well. They are cut for women with a shape and of course I love that. That is me all over.”
St John’s couldn’t have picked a more suitable ambassador if it tried.
