Gwyneth Paltrow’s Coach spring/summer 2012 ads prove that less is definitely more

13th January 2012 10:27 am

With the latest technology around, and outrageous, boundary-pushing stars such as Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj to compete with, we totally understand why many ad campaigns are going that extra mile to stand out from the rest.

However, Gwyneth Paltrow’s ad campaign for the Coach spring/summer 2012 Heritage collection proves that a little simplicity goes a long, long way.

Who needs special effects or anything that could potentially rub the ASA up the wrong way when you can have a Hollywood A-Lister modelling the clothes and accessories in surroundings that are identifiable to the target audience?

So once again, Coach have hit the nail on the head – and what great pieces of arm candy they’ve chosen to feature in the ads too.  Apparently the Willis and Madison Lindsey bags are Gwyneth’s faves!

We don’t think Coach should mess with this winning formula as Gwyneth Paltrow and photographer Peter Lindbergh have once again created magic.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
