Kristen Stewart is set to become the face of a brand new Balenciaga perfume, which is slated for release during the autumn/winter 2012 season later this year. Ooo, we’re liking the sound of this partnership!
“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” the Twilight actress told WWD yesterday. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognised and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now.
The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”
Such a way with words! We are already envisioning the endless possibilities for the ad campaign… do you think it will be sultry and moody or do you think Balenciaga will really surprise us and go for something totally unexpected?
