Lunchtime buy: Stella McCartney Hawaiian Print Coat

Oh, how we love a bit of Cruise collection escapism! After a few months of dreary weather here in the UK, we can’t help but dream about warmer and sunnier climes, and this Hawaiian print coat by Stella McCartney is transporting us straight to a tropical island paradise.

Stella is fastly becoming known for her prints (remember the fruit prints in her spring/summer 2011 collection? Gorgeous!) and these tropical illustrations featured heavily throughout her Cruise collection presentation. Featuring on a light weight cotton - ideal for those summer months – this Hawaiian print coat is a picture postcard of sunnier, more exotic locations and is just the kind of daydream we’re quite happy to indulge in currently!

We think this will look fantastic with a simple white dress, as the coat is a strong enough feature piece in itself. In fact, those of you brave enough could even take a leaf out of Miss Alexa Chung’s book and sport this little number as a dress! Why not, hey?
