Deal of the Day: Topshop Pleat Midi Shirtdress

Here at My Fashion Life, we’re a sucker for a pretty dress.  This Topshop number is a prime example of the kind of thing that makes us weak at the knees – whimsical and flirty, we can imagine floating around in this right through to summer.

Firstly, let’s talk about the pleats. Now, we all know pleats are big news this summer - Jonathan Saunders and Jil Sander both featured the finish in their SS12 collections - so we’re more than happy to start sporting the trend early. Plus, the midi-length is bang on-trend too. Two major SS12 looks in one piece? Ideal, we say!

Then, there’s the soft cream colour – a warm neutral that will look great teamed with this spring’s pastels. And let us not forget to mention the neat little collar, which finishes off the Dress of Dreams in a subtle and sweet way. We’ll be wearing this with chunky platform heels and a strong lip. Cute as a button!
