Manolo Blahnik wants to design for Keira Knightley!
According to British Vogue, the lady legendary shoe designer Manolo Blahnik would most like to make a pair of shoes for is our very own English rose, Keira Knightley!
“I saw her first in Bend It Like Beckham and I just loved her,” he told the fashion bible. “I knew she’d be huge after that film. I went to see her last year in The Children’s Hour and she was ravishing, just divine. She’s the new Vivien Leigh. I liked her in The Edge of Love too, but she always kills everyone when she’s on stage, she’s so good.”
And if and when he achieves his goal of lending his designing talents to Keira Knightley, he also has his eye on Daniel Craig’s lady too, adding, “I love Rachel Weisz too – she’s very beautiful.”
