Marina Diamandis, Tali Lennox and Alexa Chung – our best dressed at the 2012 NME awards

So, the NME Awards took place at London’s Brixton Academy last night, and although they obviously can’t compare to The Oscars (nothing really can, if we’re honest) we still managed to find a few looks to lust after. 

Unsurprisingly, one of them came courtesy of Miss Alexa Chung, while Greek cutie Marina Diamandis and budding model Tali Lennox also turned heads for the right reasons as they made their way down the red carpet.

The NME awards really give the attendees the chance to rock it up and arrive with edgy outfits they probably wouldn’t be able to get away with anywhere else, so in that respect, we were left a little disappointed that they didn’t experiment as much as we would have liked. Still, what the others lacked, Alexa, Marina and Tali more than made up for on their behalf.

Although all three looks – and ladies – are entirely different, we’re asking you to pick a favourite. We’re edging towards Marina’s vintage dress with her newly blonde hairdo (she was previously rocking the grey, a’ la Kelly Osbourne, if you can remember) at the moment but could easily change our minds in a few hours.
