Watch the making of Erdem’s autumn/winter 2012 collection!
Ever wanted to know what kind of work goes into putting an autumn/winter collection together? Well, now you can, as Erdem Moralioglu’s sister Sarah has has directed a short film that shows the ins and outs of her brother at work!
Erdem takes us on his whole journey, from the designing process right through to the hand application of every single Swarovski Elements crystal that will adorn the pieces of his collection.
“It’s wonderful seeing the collection evolve from the seed of an idea to a finished piece,” Sarah Moralioglu said. “He’s always been a wonderful illustrator even when he was little… to see those illustrations come to life and become real garments is a wonderful experience.”
Not only do we get to see the designer hard at work, but we also witness him having a little tap dance… we’re not making it up. Definitely worth watching, even if it’s just for that!
