Christy Turlington rocks asymmetric Stella McCartney in New York
Hooray – a supermodel smiling! Yesterday we gushed about how gorgeous Megan Fox looked at the New York screening of Friends with Kids, but another lady whose red carpet outfit we loved was none other than Christy Turlington! It’s hard to believe she’s 43, isn’t it?!
The stunning supermodel hit the red carpet wearing a sexy navy blue dress from Stella McCartney’s spring/summer 2012 collection. Now we know Christy isn’t the first – and probably won’t be the last – person to step out in one of Stella’s asymmetric creations, but this look has left a lasting impression for all the right reasons and will stick with us for years.
Gwyneth Paltrow rocked the printed version of this dress last year, but we think Christy might have just given her a run for her money which is saying something, as Gwyneth is seldom second best on the red carpet.
Like a true supermodel pro, Christy knew that the best way to finish off her look was with a must-have statement scarlet lip. Flawless!
