Cameron Diaz becomes newest TAG Heuer brand ambassador!

12th March 2012 9:09 am

Luxury brand TAG Heuer has just revealed that Cameron Diaz is its newest brand ambassador, joining the likes of Maria Sharapova, Leonardo Dicaprio, Lewis Hamilton and Chen Dao Ming among others.

Cameron’s first duty was to attend global watch event Baselworld 2012 in Switzerland, while unveiling and modelling the brand new “Link Lady” watch, which was apparently inspired by her.

“I am thrilled to be here in Switzerland to be a part of the launch of the Link Lady,” she said at the launch. “Throughout my career, I have been very selective about aligning myself with brands. I love the fact that TAG Heuer challenges the rules and thinks outside the box and I’m honored to be associated with such an iconic and forward-thinking brand.”

As well as modelling luxury arm candy, the actress’s partnership with the brand will also raise awareness for women empowerment programs.

“I am deeply appreciative that TAG Heuer shares my desire to support women who are not free to pursue even the most basic goals, simply because of their gender,” she said.

We think TAG Heuer have chosen a truly fine ambassador – check out the first of (hopefully) many ad campaigns below.
