Claudia Schiffer, Doutzen Kroes and Coco Rocha star in new L’Oreal hair commercial, possibly wear wigs?

13th March 2012 10:24 am

Top models Claudia Schiffer, Doutzen Kroes, Coco Rocha, Bianca Balti and Liya Kabede have been snapped up by L’Oreal to star in a brand new French commercial directed by Paul Gore for the Préférence hair colouring range.

While the commercial is chock full of hot, famous faces and does a good job of tempting us to buy the product (we’re lusting after the red hot hair colour in particular) it’s speculated that wigs may have possibly been used to achieve those bright and bouncy enviable results, which may not sit right with some people.

As far as we know, officials have neither confirmed nor denied the use of wigs in the video, so all we can do is encourage you to watch the video below to make your own minds up!

It’s that age-old debate about questioning the viewer’s intelligence and enhancing the natural effects of the product in question. (See Rachel Weisz and Taylor Swift ad campaigns.)

Either way, we love the commercial! Do you?

UPDATE: Coco Rocha herself messaged us and told us that she was NOT wearing a wig in the video. Amazing – we want us some of that hair colour, pronto!
