Tiffany & Co. launch RUBEDO Metal to celebrate 175th Anniversary

At some point in our lives, we’ve all experienced the exact sensation of heightened excitement and thrill caused by laying our eyes on that little (or big) eggshell blue box.

Inside it, a promise of eternal happiness in the form of a sublime piece of heart-fluttering jewellery; we’re talking about the Tiffany Effect, as we like to call it (cue: an awestruck Holly Golightly peering at fine jewellery in Breakfast at Tiffany’s).

To mark their 175th year of bejewelled thrill making, the esteemed luxury jewellers have unveiled the new RUBEDO Metal. Debuting in Tiffany 1837™ designs, the RUBEDO Metal collection is a luminescent offering designed to capture the radiant beauty of “first light.”

The collection, comprising of delectably smooth-contoured cuffs, necklaces, and rings in a beautiful silver and metal combination, is yet another ode to Tiffany’s romantic craftsmanship there is unmatched affection for the world over.

Unveiled this month, RUBEDO which translates as the “highest achievement, when matter and spirit fused to create something of rare beauty” comes inscribed with the iconic signature of founder Charles Lewis Tiffany.

We’re affording the new RUBEDO Metal collectible status, as it proves to be the perfect present option (yes, you can gift it to yourself, guilt-free) with an element of celebration about it. Make room in your favourite jewellery compartment, for we think your collection is about to expand.
