Best Dressed of the Week: Jaime King at The Saint Vintage Love Tour benefiting Stand Up to Cancer

24th March 2012 1:00 pm

We’re particularly digging this week’s BDOTW because it’s the perfect example of classic red-carpet meets kooky.

Hosting an evening celebrating The Saint Vintage Love Tour benefiting Stand Up to Cancer in California, earlier this week, Jaime King opted for a stunning Christian Dior Spring 2012 dress with a particularly interesting twist on monochrome.

The black bodice of the dress was complemented perfectly by a pale green embroidered chiffon skirt which, just like on the spring catwalk, looked a dream on Jaime.

Although, it may not be sitting atop everyone’s want-now list, we especially loved the subtle take on Katy Perry-esque hair colour. Blinding blue would’ve been a bit too much to stomach, given the dreamy dress she sported, but a little pale blue goes a long way!

Completing her look was a statement, layered bead necklace and a strong lip to prevent the look from washing her out, completely.

Red carpet events become boring if the dress code is take too seriously, so a major well done to Jaime for injecting a little fun into her style!
