Who joins Michelle Obama, Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs in Time’s 100 Most Influential Fashion Icons list?

Yes, the First Lady, editor-in-chief of American Vogue and the designer who has just announced a brand new cosmetics line have all been named in Time‘s 100 Most Influential Fashion Icons list, but who else joins them, you ask?

Legendary photographers such as Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz and Bruce Weber naturally made the list, as did ultimate fashion icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and David Bowie.

As we are ridiculously patriotic these days thanks to the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer, we’re thrilled that some British talent has made it onto the list too – even our very own Croydon girl Kate Moss! Take that, Piers Morgan!

The designers and brands section was chock full of some of the finest names in fashion, including Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Vera Wang and even newbies such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Bet they’re super-proud of that one!

If you want to check out all 100 of the famous faces that were honoured in the list, just head to Time’s website. Do you think it left someone important out?

We personally think Kate Middleton should have got a mention…

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
