“I don’t have anything to hide,” Rihanna tells Elle US
Yesterday we showed you the Elle UK May front cover featuring the beautiful English actress Emily Blunt, and now it’s time to look at the Stateside version of the magazine, featuring the one and only Rihanna!
As we are so head over heels in love with her brand new jet black locks, we would have preferred to see her showcase her new barnet on the cover, but that’s not to say we don’t love what Elle has done with our favourite Bajan songstress.
You know a Rihanna interview is going to be good too, and the feisty singer didn’t disappoint.
“I respect what other people have to say,” she said when asked about her thoughts on the negative attention she’s getting for working with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. “ The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It’s very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s alright. I don’t hate them for it.”
Y’hear that bloggers – Ri-Ri’s not a hater! And she’s totally fine with all the press attention she gets too…
“I have more freedom the more people know about me,” she said. “It’s like, one less skeleton in the closet, one less burden, one less secret: now you know that … I don’t have anything to hide.”
