Katy Perry stuns in Zac Posen and Oscar de la Renta for Teen Vogue

6th April 2012 9:48 am

Despite being far from a teenager these days, Teen Vogue has decided to put the wonderful Katy Perry on its May front cover… and we think it was an excellent decision.

She may be going through the very grown-up ordeal of a divorce, but Katy is one of those artists that identifies with the kids and vice versa, be it with her songs, outfits or general nature. She proved this at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last weekend where she stated that she just “hasn’t grown up!” which we think is part of her appeal.

Katy is modelling some very gorgeous outfits that would easily be found in the editorial pages of regular Vogue, though, from the likes of Zac Posen, Mary Katrantzou and Oscar de la Renta!

As well as looking stunning, Katy also had a lot to say to the mag too…

“I’m tired of being famous already,” she said. “But I’m not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It’s quite a delicate creature— it’s a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you. But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago. If you try to be everything to everyone, you’ll only end up completely confused.”

Good advice! You can check out more of Katy’s pics and interview here.
