Katy Perry embraces her inner hippie at Coachella 2012
As you probably know by now, the celebs got their hippie on for the musical marvel that is the Coachella Music Festival… and we think their outfits this time around have been better than ever!
Katy Perry used the festival as an opportunity to debut yet another hair colour (the blue was sooo last month – keep up, guys!) and we can reveal she’s gone for… a lovely deep violet shade. We actually love it, which begs the question: is there any shade Miss Perry can’t pull off?
The see-through dress Katy wore on Day 1 was interesting to say the least… but we thought she fully embraced the hippie-chick theme of the festival perfectly. We love the hair garland too; very apt for the festivities.
KP went for a sexier, edgier and rockier vibe on the third day though, as she wore a very low-cut, figure-hugging tight dress with ripped fishnet tights. We’re used to seeing Katy in sugary sweet, most probably PVC, stage-appropriate costumes, so it was nice to see her in something more laid back, enjoying the entertainment as opposed to providing it.
