Giorgio Armani designs four costumes for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball Asian tour

We have some very exciting news for all you Little Monsters this morning. It’s been revealed that Giorgio Armani has custom-made not one but four stage outfits for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball Asian tour – which kicks off in Seoul on April 27th – and we have some very sneaky peeks at what he’s designed for her.

“Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me,” Giorgio Armani said in a statement. “I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character.

“She is an artist of many talents and great intelligence. Creating stage costumes for her is a stimulating and creative exercise.”

We’ll say! Those of you going to see Lady Gaga live have lots to look forward to, including a tubular PVC bodice connected with metal studs, a shiny black PVC bodice with black spikes on the shoulders, another bodice (do you see a pattern emerging here?) decorated with guitars, and a long bodice with an interesting triangular headpiece to match.

We know that even the gorgeous drawings won’t do the real things justice, but don’t worry: not long to wait to see them in all their glory!

Are you going to the Born This Way Ball tour?
