It’s just been announced that Mulberry has joined forces with Frieze Projects and lent its support to the inaugural ‘Frieze New York’, which is set to take place on Randall’s Island next month.

“Frieze Projects sees eight artists create artwork or installations around the outdoor space of Randall’s Island,” reads a press release from Mulberry. “The commissioned artworks provide punctuation points around the island, and give interactive access to art for all visitors through the non-profit generosity of the programme, outside of the main Frieze space.”

Sounds good, doesn’t it? The luxury British brand has also created a newspaper with info on Frieze Projects and the artists, as well as a map to help people find their way around.

“We hope the newspaper we have created with the fantastic Frieze team will encourage a new audience to explore the commissions and enjoy the installations, live projects and surprises Frieze Projects has in store,” Mulberry’s brand director Georgia Fendley said.

The newspaper will be available at the fair, as well as New York galleries, and Mulberry stores on Madison Avenue, Bleecker Street and Spring Street. You can also pick up one of the bespoke Mulberry and Frieze totes (pictured above) too.
