We’re taking a break from grand red carpet style gestures and going back to basics, this week, with a classic LBD. But not any bland, yawn-inducing LBD, in fact we’re digging a rather directional, head-turner version.
The stunning Charlize Theron wowed in a Dion Lee Fall 2012 dress at the 2012 Cinecon Awards held in LasVegas this week.
Looking gorgeous, Charlize picked up the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film award at the event.
The dress showcased the illusion trend – a really hot-right-now statement many celebs are making in Stella McCartney dresses – although, so lean and model-like, Charlize definitely doesn’t need to trick a silhouette!
Completing her look with strappy black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, subtly smoky eyes and hair casually down, Charlize reminded us just how powerful the humble little black dress can be amongst other glitzy event heavyweight looks.
