Kate Upton pays $25,000 to attend the Met Gala

Yikes – some people will do anything to attend an ultra-prestigious event, won’t they?

Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton reportedly bribed Anna Wintour with a cheque for $25,000 for a ticket to Monday night’s Met Gala… and the American Vogue editor-in-chief happily obliged!

“She told Anna she would really like to attend,” a ‘source’ allegedly said. “Then she offered to pay for her own ticket. Kate then whipped out her checkbook and paid the $25,000 for her seat. Anna took the cheque on the spot.”

We admire her dedication, and we don’t blame her either. The Met Gala is the only place to be on Monday night, and anyone who is anyone in the world of fashion will be in attendance.

Plus, as the arrivals and main event will be live-streamed for the first time ever this year, securing an invite and landing a spot on that red carpet has never been more important.

We hope for Kate’s sake that she will look phenomenal in a killer outfit. Stay tuned for our coverage of the event!
