Nina Dobrev shines as Best Dressed of the Week at amFAR Gala 2012
Thigh-high side splits are currently having a bit of a moment on the red carpet. And, we fell in love at first sight when our eyes landed on Nina Dobrev’s stunning, sequined Elie Saab dress she chose for the amFAR’s Cinema Against Aids 2012 Gala.
The striking electric blue colour combined with the gorgeous embellishment not only ensured she stood out amongst a bevy of look-at-me fashion efforts, but in fact looked super-sexy by keeping her accessories to a minimum.
Showing off her super-toned pins, thanks to that daring split, Nina paired Bulgari jewels, silver Jimmy Choo heels and a silver clutch to create an effortless and charming red carpet look.
The off-shoulder detail updates this dress and takes it firmly out of boring-sequin-gown territory (can sequins ever get boring?!), perfectly complemented by her high bun. A beautiful glow offset by subtle makeup; Nina is naturally this week’s best dressed!
