We’re relishing the royal red!

We’re still sticking with the patriotism this Wednesday… partly as a thank you to the lovely Lizzie for the very enjoyable four day Bank Holiday she very kindly gave us.

The other part? Because we too were swept up by Kate Middleton mania and totally fell in love with the Duchess of Cambridge’s red Alexander McQueen dress, which was custom made for her by Sarah Burton.

Red is one of those colours that works for every single season throughout the year, so your wardrobes should always have a staple scarlet piece – or six – in them.

Here are a few pieces in the bold shade that we are particularly fond of right now:

Accordion pleated skirt, £99, available at Jaeger

Mesh insert skater dress, £45, available at Topshop

Tulip wrap dress, £60, available at Oasis

Resin apple ring, £2.99, available at New Look

Sweetie pendant, £55, Marc by Marc Jacobs available at Selfridges

Red linen clutch, £160, Wilbur & Gussie available at Austique

Heart sunglasses, £5, available at Dorothy Perkins

Silk bow shoes, £419, Valentino available at Farfetch
