Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab and Valentino to give Harrods windows a Disney Princess make-over

7th June 2012 10:39 am

Harrods and Disney, quite possibly two of our favourite things in the world, are joining forces to make Christmas a truly magical experience this year.

A host of top designers, the likes of which include Elie Saab, Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Valentino, have been snapped up to each create a one-of-a-kind dress inspired by a specific Disney Princess. Their masterpieces will then be displayed in the Harrods windows from November until after Christmas.

Additionally, there’s going to be a 7,000 square foot Disney Princess pop-up boutique on the fourth floor too, where you’ll be able to shop all sorts of merch provided stocks last. Entertaining the kids this Christmas is going to be a piece of cake!

“We are thrilled to be working with Harrods and some of the world’s most famous designers to sprinkle some magic on Christmas in London this year,” said Anna Hill, a spokesperson for Disney. “The enchanting stories of our Disney Princesses are timeless and continue to inspire girls and women across generations.”

Some of the Disney Princesses whose dresses will undergo a designer make-over include Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Jasmine (Aladdin), Cinderella,  and Belle (Beauty and the Beast) among others.

Excited?
