Jessica Chastain is a cut-out cutie in Carven

We friggin’ love Jessica Chastain’s style at the moment. The gorgeous redhead hasn’t put a foot wrong on the red carpet lately, and her appearance at Live! with Kelly in New York was no exception. 

Jessica’s cut-out black Carven top with a very subtle, miniature peplum was a bold and brilliant sartorial choice – as were the items she chose to team it with.

The shorts added the perfect amount of colour and contrast without distracting from the edginess of the top, which was the clear driving force of the overall look.

Her nude Brian Atwood pumps blended in with her porcelain skin beautifully, which consequently make us hone in on the Carven top without distraction. You can’t wear a statement top without accessorising around it!

Adding another colour into the mix may have made things a tad clown-like, so we think Jessica got the balance just right. A brunette, for example, might have been able to get away with a different coloured shoe if she felt so inclined, but we reckon Jessica’s rich, red locks totally work in her favour.
