Rachel Zoe and Joseph Altuzarra among CFDA’s new members

12th June 2012 9:55 am

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, i.e. CFDA, has got itself some brand spanking new members (26 to be exact) as the likes of Rachel Zoe, Joseph Altuzarra, Tabitha Simmons, Pamela Love and Tadashi Shoji have all gained membership status.

Of course, Diane Von Furstenberg is still the President – she ain’t going anywhere! Not for another two years at least!

“Diane has done an excellent job as CFDA president,” Steven Kolb, a spokesperson for the CFDA told WWD.  “The time and resources she gives and the vision she has created is a huge benefit for our organization and industry.”

Yup – you can say that again! Remember how smoothly Diane handled that fashion week scheduling nightmare? Anyone think we should consider DVF for actual President? Just a thought…

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
