The Queen and Kate Middleton complement each other in Nottingham

Both of our reigning and future Queens headed to London yesterday for the final leg of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee tour.

The Queen and Kate Middleton looked regal and elegant as always, complementing each other beautifully with their respective turquoise and blue outfits.

The Duchess of Cambridge chose to recycle her M Missoni coat dress (the one we last saw a few months ago when she went for tea at Fortnum and Mason) and teamed it her trusty blue Zara dress, a navy Rachel Trevor-Morgan hat and some black heels. L.K Bennett of course – the nude ones were taking a well deserved break!

The Queen also looked flawless in her silk tweed Stewart Parvin coat… but more importantly: how much would you give to have been a fly on the wall to find out what made Kate and the Queen giggle in the pic? Her Majesty’s expression – animated hands and all –  is actually priceless!
