Mulberry opens lavish flagship store in San Francisco

27th June 2012 10:13 am

Luxury British brand Mulberry has just opened its first ever flagship store in San Francisco, California – and it resides on the very chic Grant Avenue in a stunning nineteenth century three storey building.

Akin to the two flagships in London’s New Bond Street and New York’s Spring Street, the brand’s heritage is very evident in the décor – and you can thank renowned British architects Universal Design Studio for working on the design concept.

“The concept, based on our London flagship, has been refined to reflect the unique architectural quality of the building and will accommodate our full range of women’s ready to wear, accessories and shoes and men’s accessories over a generous ground and mezzanine space,” said Bruno Guillon, a spokesperson for Mulberry.

“We are committed to the USA, this is one of our highest priority markets and in addition to the new stores we have opened this year in New Jersey and San Francisco we are actively looking for more premium retail spaces capable of reflecting the luxury, modernity and craftsmanship of the Mulberry brand.”

Y’hear that? Even more Mulberry stores could be coming our way very soon! But in the meantime, let’s all stare at the pic above and start ooh-ing and aah-ing over all the pretty pieces on display!
