Kristen Stewart’s Balenciaga perfume ad is finally here!

2nd July 2012 9:30 am

Another fragrance story for you guys this morning, as we take a look at Kristen Stewart’s Balenciaga ‘Florabotanica’ ad campaign which has finally been unveiled.

We have to admit that the Steven Meisel lensed campaign wasn’t quite what we expected, as we thought we thought the brand would play on Kristen’s association with all things vampy, but as you can see, it’s far from it!

Kristen also surprised us with a few things she revealed to WWD too…

The first, was that she didn’t actually know what the perfume smelt like before she agreed to do it, and more alarmingly the second was that she hadn’t actually worn perfume before. Like… ever!

“I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with Nicolas Ghesquière. And I’m a terrible liar,” she said. “There is something natural about it. It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’”

Definitely a good sign if you ask us! The perfume itself is slated for release in September.  Do you guys like the campaign?
