Stella McCartney and Lulu Guinness get honorary degrees!
We know that Stella McCartney and Lulu Guinness have conquered the fashion world,but now it’s time for them to take a stab at the academic one too. Well, kind of!
The two designers will be given honorary degrees at the University of Arts London for their outstanding contribution to fashion.
“I am extremely grateful to University of the Arts London for awarding me with this Honorary Doctorate,” Lulu Guinness said. “I did not have a formal training in handbag design, so this makes this extra special.”
Stella McCartney will receive her Honorary Fellowship at Central Saint Martins on July 18th, while Lulu Guinness will pick up hers at the London College of Fashion on July 17th.
Two very deserving designers if you ask us. No doubt they will look fabulous at the graduation ceremonies too. Congrats, ladies!
