Kate Middleton wears bespoke Emilia Wickstead for Thistle Service

6th July 2012 9:13 am

No one can accuse Kate Middleton of not embracing the theme of an occasion.

For her trip to Wimbledon to watch Andy Murray play earlier this week, the Duchess wore a very apt tennis-inspired Alexander Mcqueen dress, so it comes as no surprise to learn that she took her trip to Scotland in her stride too.

Kate attended the ‘Thistle Service’ in Edinburgh to watch hubby Prince William be installed as a Knight of the Thistle – a very prestigious honour. Aww, so cute – proud wifey and all!

The Duchess of Cambridge – who is actually known as the Countess of Strathearn over in Scotland – wore a bespoke, lemon yellow coat-dress by one of her fave designers, Emilia Wickstead. She teamed it with a tartan Strathearn scarf – the same one she carried around at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations last month – and a gorgeous cappuccino hat by British designer Whiteley.

Once again, Kate dressed for her audience, and we think everyone in England and Scotland will be pleased with her outfit choice. Do you guy like her look?
