Karl Lagerfeld to launch Olympics collection at Selfridges

9th July 2012 10:26 am

His adorable white iPad-using kitty cat Choupette has been getting a lot of media attention lately, but now it’s time for Karl Lagerfeld to once again take the spotlight as it’s just been revealed that he will launch a special Olympics-themed collection at Selfridges later this month.

The collection – which will be available via a pop up shop – is entitled Team Karl (how apt!) and is comprised of women’s clothing and accessories, as well as the limited edition T-shirts he designed with ‘I Love Dust’.

As well as the Olympics collection, Karl Lagerfeld is celebrating more permanent things at Selfridges too, as the London store has a brand new space dedicated to the designer which will house the second collection from his Karl line, as well as new premium line Karl Lagerfeld Paris Man.

As there’s a lot to celebrate, Kaiser Karl will be heading to Selfridges on July 24th for the big launch – watch this space!
