Three ways to wear the flared skirt

The flared skirt is one of those versatile pieces that every wardrobe needs! In fact, akin to the classic failsafe, iconic LBD, you can never have enough. There will always be a time and a place for a flared skirt – the secret to wearing it well and appropriately lies within what you wear with it. In other words, accessorise around it!

We were overwhelmed with choice when it came to choosing just one, but we settled on this houndstooth flared skirt from McQ by Alexander McQueen. A fine choice even if we do say so ourselves!

The fact that it’s printed means that it’s already a standalone bold piece, and even teaming it with the most minimal of other items will still be enough to make a statement. The colour’s not too ‘in your face’ either, which means you can go as subtle or as crazy as you like. Here are just three ways you can wear it:

For the office
