Missoni teams up with Havaianas for another collection
When our fave summer flip flops at Havaianas got the print-tastic Missoni treatment last year, we thought it was a match made in summer shoe heaven.
Therefore you can understand how thrilled we were when we learnt that they had once again joined forces to bring joy and colour back into the feet of the world again!
Not only is this collection super-bright and amazing to look at, but it’s also great for the environment too…
“For Missoni the relationship with nature has always been a priority. We live and work in touch with the landscape, its seasons and all the time changing colors have been always an inspiration,” said Angela Missoni.
“At the same time, Havaianas is firmly concerned about reducing waste, re- using and recycling of materials. This collaboration matches perfectly both of our passions: fashion and respect for nature.”
The new range was created using left-over rubber pieces from the manufacturing process – even the packaging is made from recyclable material! If that (and the classic Missoni pattern) isn’t enough to tempt you into buying a pair, we don’t know what is!
