Rihanna is designing a collection for River Island!
We have amazing news to kick-start your day: Rihanna is designing a collection with British high street store River Island for the spring/summer 2013 season!
“I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time,” said Rihanna. “River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me.
“I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”
The Barbadian saucy songstress has already dipped her toe in the designing pool by creating two collections with Armani, so we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. And best of all, her pieces will be slightly more affordable than those aforementioned designer threads, so we can all get a chance to own some proper Ri-Ri designer gear. Hooray!
