CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists revealed

18th July 2012 9:34 am

How is it already time for the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund finalists to be announced? Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that designer Joseph Altuzarra won the main prize of £300,000 and mentorship from an industry expert?

Anyway, it’s someone else’s time to shine now, as ten brand new finalists have been revealed for the 2012 prize. The winner and two runners up will be announced at the CFDA/Vogue Gala on November 13th, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled.

The very deserving finalists are, drumroll please…

Andrea Lieberman, A.L.C.
Greg Armas, Assembly New York
Sofia Sizzi, Giulietta
Justin Salguero, Daniel Silberman, and Alina Silberman; Illesteva
Jennifer Fisher, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry
Jennifer Meyer Maguire, Jennifer Meyer
Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty, Suno
Tabitha Simmons, Tabitha Simmons (pictured above at last months’s CFDA awards)
Greg Chait, The Elder Statesman
Wes Gordon, Wes Gordon

Which of them do you think should walk away with the top prize? We’re not betting people, but if we were, we’d be tempted to do a bit of a sweepstake in the MFL office. Who’s your money on?

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
