Madonna’s younger brother will show at London Fashion Week
Original Queen of pop Madonna isn’t the only member of the Ciccone family with a fashion line!
Her younger brother Christopher Ciccone will be unveiling his debut footwear range, rather aptly entitled ‘The Ciccone Collection’, during London Fashion Week this season. Well, he would be a fool not to make the most of the family name!
The 51-year-old author, artist, photographer and dancer (to name just a few of his previous jobs!) was reportedly approached by Slovakian brand Novesta over a year ago to make his foray into shoe design.
We don’t know much about the shoes themselves apart from that they will be “fashionable yet functionable footwear” for women, men and children. He was reportedly inspired by Hollywood and Italian film stars, and we can expect to see the shoes have names such as Eva, Brigitte and Sofia. No prizes for guessing which stars provided the inspiration for those names!
