H&M unveils nine David Beckham statues!
Either we have died and gone to heaven or the geniuses at H&M can totally read our minds. Either way, nine silver statues of a half-naked David Beckham have been made, and we are rather pleased about it.
To coincide with the release of David Beckham’s second Bodywear ad campaign, H&M has created nine 10-foot statues of the footballer… and they will be displayed in several places in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco from today until Sunday. You lucky, lucky Americans!
The best thing about these statues (yes even better than having the pleasure of glancing up at a 10-foot Becks) is that they can win you some pretty cool prizes.
If you happen to spot one and Instagram a pic of the statue using the hashtag ‘#HMBeckham’, you can potentially get your hands on one of ten mini Becks statues, a pair of signed DB underwear or even a $1,000 spending spree at H&M! We don’t know which prize we’d rather have if we’re honest…
We’re a bit gutted that we Londoners can’t get in on the action, but then again we did have the Olympics, so guess we can’t have all the fun!
