A round up of the best dressed celebs at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012

7th September 2012 12:27 pm

Could there have been any more events that went on last night?

Not only were some of the biggest and most stylish cities in the world taking part in Fashion’s Night Out, the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards were also happening in Los Angeles.

As well as providing celebs another excuse to glam up, get merry and enjoy each other’s company, the VMAs are to celebrate music and the great videos that come with it. However, that’s not to say that the fashion is any less fabulous. Therefore it should come as no surprise to learn that the red carpet was bursting with stylish famous faces, with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Emma Watson sitting pretty on our best dressed list.

There was no obvious recurring dress theme this time around, but it’s safe to say that the girls and boys dressed to impressed. It was tough to narrow down our favourites this year, but we’ve tried our best – and don’t forget to have your say in the poll at the bottom!

Katy Perry in Elie Saab Couture

Rihanna in Adam Selman

Miley Cyrus in Emilio Pucci

Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto

Taylor Swift in J Mendel

Rita Ora in custom Emilio Pucci

Zoe Saldana in Salvatore Ferragamo

Pink in Stella McCartney

Who was your best dressed at the 2012 MTV VMAs?

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!

Editor’s Pick

Polish off your sartorial brunch, boardroom and weekend silhouettes with Fendi's black textured leather duffle tote accented with tonal cow-print haircalf trim for that extra kick of Italian flair.
