Kate Middleton wears purple Prabal Gurung in Singapore

12th September 2012 9:59 am

With its psychedelic purple designs, Prabal Gurung’s autumn/winter 2012 collection is instantly recognisable! While we had those trippy campaign videos starring Candice Swanepoel to keep the designs firmly in our heads, we now have another reason, as one of the pieces has been worn by none other than the Duchess of Cambridge.

As we told you yesterday, Kate and her hubby Prince William have landed in Singapore as part of their Diamond Jubilee Tour, so it should come as no surprise to learn that the Duchess was being diplomatic and embracing the culture by stepping out in a Prabal Gurung dress. Yes his collection shows in New York, but he does in fact hail from Singapore so kudos to Kate for doing her homework! (We assume Kate still chooses her own outfits, seeing as – according to the Palace – she doesn’t have a stylist!)

Kate Middleton looked absolutely radiant! Don’t you think she and Wills look like waxworks in the image above? A picture-perfect, flawless Royal Couple we’re proud to call our own!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
