The world is still buzzing after Diane von Furstenberg’s incredible New York Fashion Week show which brought technology and fashion together, but now there’s something else going on with the label too.

DVF creative director Yvan Mispelaere has just announced that he’ll be stepping down from his post after two and a half years of working with the label.

“I am so grateful for the contributions Yvan brought to DVF and fully support him as he takes the next step in his career,” Diane said. “Yvan joined us almost three years ago and has added enormous value.  He also put together a highly skilled design team to support our growth both in fashion and accessories.

“I am very thankful and proud of his accomplishments here and I look forward to our strong team continuing to create the signature DVF look for when everywhere.”

And before we get a repeat of the “who will replace John Galliano at Dior” saga, it’s being reported that no one else will take the job, and the design team will be led by Diane herself.

We’ll keep you posted about Yvan’s new job!
