3 MUST HAVE shoes for the new season!
Autumn/winter ’12 brought with it a sumptuous collection of shoes, many of which steered clear of the ‘high fashion’ (read: unwearable) label, and quickly became our new season must-haves as we saw them stride along the catwalks back in February.
Sexed-up platform Mary Janes; loafers ranging from patent to pretty heavily studded and trusty ankle boots with off kilter detailing all caught our eye and here’s how you should be shopping for them this season.

Why: The slipper isn’t a slippery trend (pun intended), in fact it’s here to stay for good as a wardrobe staple we have all come to love (especially our feet!). If you’re looking for an alternative to the now common round toe slipper, opt for a simple pointed version with standout detail.

The Brocade Party Heel

Why: Heavy, opulent brocade is a new season favourite and spread from the clothes onto footwear for autumn/winter ’12. Metallic accents are perfect for livening up a moody hued outfit, and a great way to incorporate the trend into your look if your not too keen on slipping into a pair of brocade trousers.
