You know it’s serious when a fash-off involves leather. This week sees two uber-chic ladies  go head-to-head in a killer leather ensemble, as Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez make it virtually impossible for our fashion eyes to choose between them!
Leather does pretty much require a PHD in body perfection to carry it off with aplomb (that’s a given for this hot twosome), and one misplaced bulge will result in an unsightly, ‘Snooki effect’ to your look.
But seeing Eva and JLo in The Row’s Risting leather dress only added to our new season trend envy. Leather is huge news for autumn/winter 2012′, but whom out of the two ladies made it their own?
Eva Longoria wore the Risting leather dress to the Padres’ El Sueno De Esperanza Benefit Gala after party, styling it with a top knot, clutch and Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps.
On the other hand, voluptuous derrière owner, JLo,  was spotted in the Risting leather dress whilst on a dinner date with beau Casper Smart. Fierce as ever in the wardrobe department, Ms. Lopez paired the leather dress with Tom Ford Padlock ankle strap pumps, STARK Lady of the Night clutch and a statement red lip.
Both Eva and Jen look stunning in their respective outfits, but there’s only room for one style victory…
Fash-off champion: We love a look with a twist, and even though Eva’s polished look works wonders on her, it’s also a little tried and tested. Predictably Eva, maybe. Jen’s slick of red lipstick and wispy hairdo is definitely a winner for us, and adds character to an otherwise simple leather look. We just can’t stop ogling those Tom Ford padlock pumps! Major want!
